Garnet Tracy will be missed.

Garnet passed away on Sunday May 4th just short of his 88th birthday.

He had made 800 quilts over his lifetime and stopped quilting about 6 years ago.

We will post a retrospective of his work soon.

Ruti's Needlebed

One of the Block of the month quilts is called "A Toonie a Time". Come each month and for a toonie, taxes included, you will get the fabric and instructions for a block. This is a fun way to try different patterns which could be used for a whole quilt. All the blocks use thangles which is a fast efficient way to make 1/2 square triangles.

Ruti also has a Quilting Club from 1 pm to 3 pm on the second Friday of the month.  Come learn a different technique each month as you experiment with exciting ideas. You will sew at the class and go home with a new project started.              Membership is $30 a year.
