It’s time to get creative!
This year’s hallway challenge will run from November 29 through December 19 2021
The theme, based on your votes during the last EQG guild meeting is “Connections”.
Whether your idea of “Connection” is logical sequence, a notion of association, a relation of personal intimacy–this theme is perfect for your own interpretation.
We’re encouraging you to explore your creativity through quilting or any fibre arts that moves you to create. Think how wonderful it will be to decorate the halls of NPCC with our work, and show the entire creative community our skills that we have been honing.
When? Monday, November 29 through Sunday, December 19, 2021. Finished submissions must be handed in on Monday, November 29 between 8:30 am and 10 am. They will be hung on that day.
Where? NPCC Hallway.
Registration fee per entry is $10. (Yes, we encourage multiple submissions…there’s lot of wall space to cover!)
Your completed registration form and payment MUST be received by Monday November 15 2021. Please drop it off to the front desk at NPCC on or before this date.
Quilt size maximum 160” or less.
Quilts must have a sleeve and be ready to be hung. If you wish to supply your own hanger it will be used if possible.
Other art forms are encouraged also, but them must be able to fit in the NPCC plexiglass boxes for security. There are various sizes available, but it might be a good idea to check with NPCC on sizes so that there are no last minute disappointments.
Each entry must have a completed registration form and the fee must be paid. Forms and payment can be dropped off to the front desk of NPCC.
First, second and third prizes will be awarded based on Viewer’s Choice ballots filled out by the visitors to the centre.
And that’s it! Questions? Please email EQGweb@gmail.com and we will get back to you asap. Below, you will find an application form to complete and submit to NPCC.
