Welcome to the Etobicoke Quilters’ Guild website…
November 21 2022 Meeting
We are all eager to hear Jackie Syer: from the Laundry Basket to the Bed and see her work. Go to the Meetings page for more information on Jackie, and see our plans for the full 2022-2023 guild year. This is an in-person meeting.
Our guild now has 134 members- hurrah!
Our meeting started with updates from the quilt show organizers- postcards coming soon. Do your part and help get the word out about our show- and get busy with the quilt you will be submitting!
Our guest speaker was Dorothy Holdenmeyer, speaking about lessons her quilts taught her. Wow, her work is so inspiring. I especially loved all the cursive work she added into the backgrounds. You can find some photos of her work, and photos from Show and Share on our Show and Share page.
Quilt Fever is scheduled for March 24 and 25 2023..
Check out the rules of entry, information about awards and judging, and find the application form on our Quilt Show page. Also there, information on selling in the Member’s Boutique!

We are busy planning for our quilt show. Meanwhile, we know you want to see quilts in person, so here are a few “local” quilt shows that we have been able to find online. If you know of any others, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will add them to the list. Or check out QuiltingHub.com for lots of info on shows across North America!
