POSTPONED TO Sept 24 2022 Jackie Syer: Make an Arrowhead Quilt. 9:30 am – 4:00 pm

Neilson Park Creative Centre, 56 Neilson Drive, Etobicoke.  $55 for members, $65 for non-members

Jackie Syer is a quilter extraordinaire who teaches quilting all over southern Ontario. We are so fortunate to FINALLY have her with us for a full day workshop, as she guides us in constructing a quilt using the arrowhead design. (She was going to do this workshop for us in spring 2020, before the world changed, so we’ve been waiting two years for this event!)

Come and benefit from her expert guidance in creating this charming quilt, using a cake plate (or 40 – 10 inch by 10 inch squares) and 3 m of background fabric, plus .75 m of binding and backing of your choice.  (A cake plate makes 80 blocks!) In the sample pictured above, Jackie also used two charm packs to make the added border.

Cancellation policy for workshops

We understand that sometimes people who have registered for a workshop find they are unable to take it. If there are enough people to cover the costs of the workshop and the guild isn’t losing money, a registrant can get a refund if they have to cancel. The amount refunded will be the full amount they paid, minus a $5 processing fee. If there aren’t enough people to cover the costs without their registration, they can transfer their registration to someone else, but they cannot get a refund. Usually, it has been possible to give refunds because our members have responded enthusiastically to workshops, but it can’t be guaranteed.

If the guild has to cancel a workshop for any reason, people who have registered will be refunded the full amount they paid. (No processing fee will be deducted.)
