Crieff Hills Fall Retreat 2025
Crieff Hills Fall Spring 2025
What to expect:
You need to bring your own machine and everything you need for your project. Always bring a back up project in case you finish the first one. The Guild will provide two Ironing boards, irons and large cutting mats. We set up our machines when we arrive and leave them up for the duration so you don’t have to pack everything up each night.
Accommodation: The rooms are either shared or single. We can take maximum 27 people. 20 people sharing & 7 singles. If more than that who apply, we will have a draw at the monthly meeting. Shared accommodation will be drawn as shared not individually as two friends might drive together for example. If you want to share & know who with, let us know when you add your name to the list otherwise we will match you with people.
Food: Included in the price are lunches over the three days, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday and dinner on Friday and Saturday. Special dietary restrictions need to be sent to Diane at least two weeks in advance.
Coffee and tea is provided by the Guild and attendees usually bring goodies and shared snacks. Alcoholic beverages can be consumed in the evenings when we gather in the common room (or during afternoon sewing, lol)
We have a great time, laughing, talking, catching up, eating, (drinking), playing games or making puzzles in the evening and spending as many hours sewing as we can fit in.
The cost depends on the numbers attending but shared is in the neighbourhood of $500 for the whole weekend with single being slightly more. Deposits are due after the names are confirmed at monthly meeting and are in the region of $200 -$250. The balance is due on Sunday of the retreat. We also need $10/person tip money in cash.
